Favor Ain’t Fair…But It’s Free

Favor Ain’t Fair…But It’s Free

Favor seems to be a recurring theme in my circle these days. Favor is something that God chooses to bestow upon us that we cannot earn by our own merit, solely because we are children of God; this is very similar to our biological parents buying us gifts “just because”.  Additionally, there are those times when one child gets something while another does not and there is no apparent rhyme or reason to why that is. I come to offer an alternative in how we think about this whole experience.

As individual offspring of God, our minds are the mini-me’s of God’s, meaning that God’s thoughts are higher than our own. So in essence, we may never know why God chooses to bless one and not the other with a specific gift(s). However, the truth is that we are all connected, and what God does for one of us, is indirectly done for all of us by virtue of the connection. We are all blessed to be a blessing to those that we are connected to…so to keep one’s blessings to themselves is to deny the purpose of the blessing and to disobey God. I admonish us all to never covet someone’s else blessings, and conversely to never allow our blessings to only benefit self. When we are all raised to this consciousness, the world will be a much better place to be. And so it is…

Chief Executive Officer

M.ind O.ver M.atter (M.O.M.) was founded in 2007 by Corky Henderson, who, after a spiritual awakening took on the pen name of Healing. Having worked several years in healthcare he recognized the gaps that exist in our country’s approach to health and wellness and decided to do something about it. In the United States, we focus on pacifying the symptoms of our health issues as opposed to healing the cause. Healing believed that to affect real/permanent change in one’s life that we should not only focus on healing the cause of the issue, but to cultivate and balance each aspect of who we are…mind, body, and soul. This then became the mantra and vision for M.O.M.
