Personal God
I recently purchased the movie “The Shack” after my initial introduction to the movie last summer. Let me just say for those who haven’t seen it, it is an overwhelming experience that will send you into an emotional overload! However, one of the most poignant themes in the movie is that of a “Personal God”. In the movie, God became whatever/whomever was necessary in order to reach the main character.
Many of us have heard of the notion “having a personal relationship with God”, this movie takes it a step further. Because God created ALL God is ALL, which means God can and will manifest into whatever it takes to: comfort us, draw us closer, grow us, chastise us, enlighten us, and even to bring us joy…in essence to love us. For this reason, it is important that we do not limit God to external ideations of who God is, but only cling to how God shows up for each of us individually. As we allow God to be whatever/whomever we need in the moment, we open ourselves to the limitless possibilities that will create our best lives, our best SELF, and the fulfillment of our God-given purpose.
My brother/my sister I urge you to let God be who/what God needs to be for you personally, and take notice of the shift. It will blow your mind! And so it is…
Namaste,
Healing
