Retreat to Regroup
Sometimes in our lives God causes us to take a break from our regularly scheduled lives in order to prepare ourselves for the next level and/or aspect of our individual journey. Though these breaks can exist in many forms, more often than not they come in the form of ailments that prevent us from performing some of those daily tasks that have become routine in our lives; they may even show up at seemingly untimely points along our journey. However, these breaks are very necessary in ensuring that we have what it takes to progress forward in the fulfillment of our individual destiny.
One of the main purposes of these breaks is that they afford us the opportunity to retreat and regroup. Sometimes we need to stop what we are doing and reflect on a few things such as:
- Where it is God is taking us
- Where it is we choose to be in life
- What will be necessary to achieve either destination
- How to best implement any necessary changes
As we reflect on the above, we can then also begin to put together a plan of action that will result in, not only answering the above questions, but also bringing them to fruition. All of which can be done through the power that God has blessed each and every one of us with. As my favorite scripture reminds us…”I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13). And so it is…
Namaste,
