Taking Responsibility

Taking Responsibility

There is an entity that most of us are aware of and many of us place a great deal of blame on for the not-so-good areas of our lives. The entity that I am referring to is the devil. The devil has become known as the culprit for all of our “sin”, most of our shortcomings when it comes to doing what is best for ourselves and for those we’re connected to, as well as any perceived disconnects that exist between us and God.take-ownership-31 This fits perfectly with our M.O. of placing blame on others to exonerate ourselves of responsibility for our choices and actions. What would happen if we decided to take responsibility for the choices we make and the resulting outcomes?

God created each and every one of us with the power to not only choose for ourselves, but to ultimately create the lives we want to live. Once we realize and operate in this truth we then can take control of our lives and make conscious choices that will lead to the experiences we desire. When we place blame on the devil and/or any other being besides ourselves we give away our power, and put it in the hands of those we’re placing the blame on…and of course the more we give away our power the more powerless we are in creating the lives we choose. So I admonish everyone to take responsibility for all choices, actions, reactions and outcomes as opposed to saying “The devil made me do it.” After all, the power is in our hands. And so it is…

Namaste,

Chief Executive Officer

M.ind O.ver M.atter (M.O.M.) was founded in 2007 by Corky Henderson, who, after a spiritual awakening took on the pen name of Healing. Having worked several years in healthcare he recognized the gaps that exist in our country’s approach to health and wellness and decided to do something about it. In the United States, we focus on pacifying the symptoms of our health issues as opposed to healing the cause. Healing believed that to affect real/permanent change in one’s life that we should not only focus on healing the cause of the issue, but to cultivate and balance each aspect of who we are…mind, body, and soul. This then became the mantra and vision for M.O.M.
