The (Absence) of Love
Some of us have gone through life feeling as though we have never experienced and/or known love. This phenomena is often a result of false perceptions of love, traumatic experiences surrounding what is disguised as love, loneliness, abandonment and a host of other ills that exist in our world. Holding the belief that one does not possess love in their lives can often result in: depression, bitterness, hate, and even murder unfortunately. However, there is good news!
The truth is that love never was and never will be absent. God created us out of love and through love helps us to get through this journey called life. Additionally, God offers us opportunities to experience and know love, so that we can then reciprocate that love to God, ourselves and all those we are connected to; it is up to us to get and take heed to the lesson. Those of us who have not gotten the lesson are described above. Once we truly know God then we’ll know true love, and when we know true love we will then recognize how omnipresent love is. This revelation will then give us the foundation we need to always operate from a place of love in all that we do. And so it is…
