The Power of God
Yesterday’s election, though daunting, has tested and strengthened my faith in God. I was reminded of the story of how Saul became Paul on the road to Damascus. For those who are not familiar with the story, here’s the short version. Saul used to persecute Christians, until one day when God appeared to him on his way to Damascus to persecute more Christians. God’s brilliance was so bright that it blinded Saul, and in his blinded state God spoke to Saul and convinced him to change his ways and begin to teach Christianity, as opposed to persecuting Christians. Along with his new assignment also came a new name-Paul. Paul was one of the most influential characters in the bible in terms of increasing the knowledge of the people about God.
As we go through the next 4 years as believers, let’s turn our focus to God and all that we know God to be. If God can change Saul who used to persecute Christians, certainly God can change Trump. But no matter what Trump does or does not do, let’s always keep in mind that God is still, and always will be, in CONTROL!! We can rest with the assurance that God’s agenda will always prevail. And so it is…
Namaste,
Healing
